Can I wear make-up despite having acne?
I love putting make-up and even though I have acne problem, I want to look as beautiful as others. Will applying make-up on my face make the acne worse?

It is advised to start off with oil-free foundation, ideally a shade darker than your skin. One layer is enough to cover acne blemishes. Concentrate on your eyes; it draws attention away from the blemishes. Apply lipstick to give the complete look. Makeup can be used to hide skin’s flaws but make sure you are treating acne at the same time.
First you will have to forget the misconception that applying make up makes you beautiful. You might have seen many people applying makeup and yet they do not look good. You will have to realise that too much makeup isn't very good.
To start with you will have to use a full-coverage, oil-free foundation, and do not apply more than one layer of foundation as this can draw attention to your skin. You have oily skin so you need to apply a powder on top. The best thing for you to do is to focus on your eyes when you have acne on your face. This will draw attention to your eyes and away from the blemishes.
